Plastic Parts for Copiers

Plastic Parts for Copiers

Turning is an intricate engineering method of creating precise custom plastic parts and components. Turning is based around the traditional lathe.

CHT has a wide range of turning machines including some of the most advanced that have the capability of producing the highest-quality smallest precision parts used in some of the worlds’ most demanding industries. In addition, We can produce complex one-off parts and prototype runs, through to high volume fabrication of unique precision plastic components.

Advantages of Plastic Parts

Injection molding, rapid prototyping, and 3D printing can’t compete with turning in terms of accuracy. With plastic turning, we achieve much tighter tolerances than are possible with other manufacturing methods.

Turning is also effective for a much broader range of materials. At CHT, we use turning to machine plastic parts from materials such as Vespel®, Teflon®, carbon-fiber composites, and many others.

Because it’s highly efficient, turning is far more cost-effective than injection molding or rapid prototyping.

1. How long does a quotation take?
In most cases, we respond within two days. If something in RFQ need be comfirmed, we will notify you asap.
2. How do I know my design will be kept confidential?
We sign and adhere to any non-disclosure or confidentiality agreement with our customers. We also have a strict confidential policy within our factory and never allow any proprietary information to be disclosed to a third party.
3. How quickly can I get my mold and parts?
Usually the mold FOT takes four weeks and it will take more time with complex structure. Parts will be molded once the samples are approved by the customer. Production lead time is based on the quantity.

4. Do you do the surface treatments please?

Sure. We do the surface treatments, like screen painting, laser etching, thermal melting, welding as well as assembling.

5. What drawings format you need for production?

2D, 3D both available. 2D like PDF, CAD, JPG etc. 3D like STP, IGS, STL, SAT, PRT, IPT etc.

6. What about quality control?

Self-inspection in every process by the production operator. Spot inspection and final inspection executed by QC, Defective rate is controlled within 1%.
